My stay at Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center was marked by a mix of positives and a few setbacks. The staff was friendly and accommodating. plus, the location is unbeatable for accessing the university and nearby attractions. However, some areas like the slow registration process and a dated room decor brought my experience down a notch.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bed, although the decor felt a bit dated. There was also a minor issue where a picture had come off the wall, but it didn’t affect my stay significantly.
Service
6.0
The staff was generally helpful and friendly, and their willingness to assist was a highlight. However, I found the front desk service a bit slow at times, which could be improved.
Location

The location is perfect for anyone visiting Georgetown University. very convenient for campus activities and exploring the area. However, accessing the hospital nearby can be quite challenging due to ongoing construction.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. especially the made-to-order omelets, which were a nice touch to my mornings.
Facilities

While the hotel has solid facilities for conferences, I did notice that power outlets in the room were scarce. That could be more accommodating for guests with electronic devices.

6.2/10

My stay at Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center was more of an adventure than I anticipated. The location is excellent for accessing campus events, but the lack of restaurants nearby made dining options challenging. Additionally, my experience was marred by some service issues and outdated room amenities, such as plastic cups instead of proper glasses. All in all, it's a unique place if you're visiting the university, but improvements are needed.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are somewhat tired and could be cleaner, but at least the beds were comfortable for a restful sleep.
Service
6.0
The front desk staff were friendly and courteous, but they seemed limited in what they could do to resolve issues.
Location
6.0
This hotel is conveniently located on campus, making it easy to attend university-related events, though it can be tough to find and access.
Dining
5.0
Dining options are quite limited and there's no room service, which is especially inconvenient given the location on the hill.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel includes decent conference facilities, but lacks basic amenities like drinkware and a restaurant.

6.0/10

My recent stay at the Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center had its ups and downs. I appreciated the proximity to campus and the quality of the breakfast, but the room itself was quite disappointing. There were significant maintenance issues including a broken phone and inadequate air conditioning. Overall, I left feeling frustrated rather than rested.

Rooms
5.0
I booked a KING room but was given a Double-Double instead. The air conditioning didn't work well, leaving the room hot and muggy all night. I also noticed rips in the chairs and cracked paint which detracted from the overall experience.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff seemed unhelpful when I needed assistance with our taxi reservation. They didn't listen to my requests properly and were a bit dismissive overall. I wasn't impressed with how the manager handled my concerns during checkout.
Location
5.0
The hotel is well-placed on Georgetown University's campus, making it convenient for attending events. However, the ongoing construction made access challenging and unclear, which could frustrate guests.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed the breakfast, especially the made-to-order omelets which were a real highlight. However, the limited food options during busy times, like graduation, were a downside.
Facilities

There were multiple issues with the facilities. The elevator from the garage was out of order, and I found the overall decor of the hotel dated, making it feel less welcoming.

5.6/10

My stay at the Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center was a mixed bag. I appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the comfortable beds, making for a restful night. However, the extensive construction around the hotel made accessibility a real challenge, particularly with the elevator from the garage not working. The plastic cups in the room felt a bit cheap, and I wish there had been more dining options available nearby during my visit. Overall, while the location is fantastic for university events, the lack of amenities and ongoing construction made it less enjoyable for me. 🏫🚧

7.4/10

I appreciated the hotel's affordability and its unbeatable location near Georgetown University, which made accessing campus a breeze. However, I encountered numerous issues, like unreliable Wi-Fi and a lingering odor in my room that made my stay less enjoyable. While the staff was responsive to problems, I expected better overall maintenance and attention to details.

Rooms
6.0
The room I had was decent-sized and kept clean, but it had a bit of a dead mouse smell that was quite off-putting. Also, while I appreciated the individual air conditioner, it was disappointing that there was no microwave or refrigerator.
Service
6.0
I found the staff to be courteous and responsive when I raised issues, which was definitely a positive aspect. However, it took a while to get some problems fixed, like the cable TV.
Location

The proximity to Georgetown University and the hospital is fantastic, making it an ideal place for campus visits. However, it's not very close to major attractions in DC, so that may be a drawback for some.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the made-to-order omelets, but the cafeteria-style service felt under-staffed, and I had to wait longer than expected for my food.
Facilities

While the hotel offers basic amenities, it feels dated and could really benefit from an update. The parking garage also requires some navigation knowledge to avoid confusion, and I found it frustrating to get the right pass.
